Summer Art Camps at SynerGeo

Call us now to register. space is limited.

The first camp is “Art & Community” and we will explore some of Oregon Hill’s History/make gravestone rubbings at Hollywood Cemetery, work on a community themed “mural”, make “messages” to share with the neighborhood. This camp is scheduled the week of July 6-10 from 9 am until noon.

Our second camp will be the week of July 20-24 from 9 am until noon. This camp, “Art & Culture” will expose the students to art of other cultures. We will explore a different location such as Africa, Australia, South America each day.

Community Dinner in June

Our Oregon Hill community dinner in June will be on Monday, June 8th. 6:00pm

(it is on the second monday instead of the third monday because we will be away on a breakout volunteer trip working with Jubilee in Comer, Georgia.

Open House / Art Show at SynerGeo

Please join us tonight for an Open House / Art Show from 6 – 7:30pm.  Art works will be displayed from programs and staff members.  We hope you drop by to learn more about SynerGeo, becoming an Americorps member, and giving back to your community.

The end of the semester is here already. Join us on Thursday from 6 to 7:30 to see all the work art we have been making in Artsplosion!

Picking up trash on Wednesday from 1 to 4 in the neighborhood. come help.

Were hanging out at the Byrd Market on Tuesdays painting faces. Stop by and find local/organic/fresh/yummy food.

Next Monday, May 18, join us for community dinner. Always good food, and friends and fun.
